SEOUL, KOREA – LG Electronics has begun the sale of the LG Optimus G Pro in the US, following its launch in South Korea and Japan.
The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled by AT&T on May 10. The Optimus G Pro available in the US has the same specifications as the one launched in the domestic market. It comes with a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display and a 3140mAh battery.
Park Jong-seok, Vice President of LG Electronics’ MC business division said, “The LG Optimus G Pro will leave US consumers an impression that the best image quality is delivered by LG.”

LG전자(대표 구본준)가 한국, 일본에 이어 미국에서 `옵티머스G 프로` 판매를 시작했다.
LG전자는 10일(현지시각)부터 미국 이통사 AT&T를 통해 옵티머스G 프로를 선보이며 글로벌 순차 출시에 속도를 내고 있다. 미국에 출시한 옵티머스G 프로는 국내 출시된 제품과 사양이 동일하다. 5.5인치 대화면 풀HD IPS 디스플레이를 탑재해 기존 HD급보다 해상도가 2배 높고 3140mAh 대용량 배터리를 갖췄다.
박종석 LG전자 MC사업본부장 부사장은 “북미시장에서도 옵티머스G 프로가 `화질은 LG`라는 인식을 소비자들에게 각인시키게 될 것”이라고 말했다.
