SEOUL, KOREA – LG Electronics announced on Sunday that its drum washing machine has won the Sustainability Certification from the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) of the United States.
Accordingly, LG Electronics has become the world’s first home appliance manufacturer to obtain the AHAM certification. The certification-winning drum washing machine (model WM8000HVA and WM8000HWA) is a 5.1-cubic-foot, large-capacity model. By leveraging a new turbo shot technology, it reduces washing time while enhancing washing power. It is also equipped with a DD (direct drive) motor and a 6-motion system.
