SEOUL, KOREA – Co-hosted by K. Fairs Limited and EMDD, Security Korea 2013 (from May 21 through 24) opened on Tuesday at the COEX Convention Center, in southeastern Seoul. Security Korea 2013 features 300 booths set up by 120companies from seven nations.
On display are physical security systems (e.g. security equipment systems, building automation systems, homeland security systems) and information security systems such as PC security, certification and encryption solutions. In addition, CCTVs, optical communications solutions, finger print readers and smart entry control systems are on view. Security companies such as ADT Caps, Panasonic, Igloo Security and Schneider Electric Korea have participated in Security Korea 2013.
On the first day of Security Korea 2013, symposiums on outlook on the ICT-based convergence security market and outlook on the mobile operating systems security markets and the third Korea-Japan information security symposium were held. Presentations on outlook on the EWC wireless connectivity market and on new products and solutions are scheduled for Wednesday.
On May 24, Security Korea 2013, a business-exclusive event held simultaneously with World IT Show 2013, will hold a public day to open its doors to the public.

보안•IT융합 한눈에 보는 `시큐리티코리아 2013` 개막
보안과 IT융합 산업을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 `시큐리티코리아 2013`이 21~24일 개막한다.
K.FAIRS, 한국감시기기공업협동조합 EMDD 공동 주최하는 이번 전시회는 7개국 120개 업체가 참여하고 300개 부스가 마련된다.
보안장비시스템, 빌딩자동화시스템, 홈랜드시큐리티시스템 등 물리보안 제품뿐 아니라 PC보안, 인증•암호솔루션 등 정보보안 솔루션이 전시된다. CCTV, 광통신 솔루션, 지문인식기, 스마트 출입관제 시스템 등도 선보인다. ADT캡스, 파나소닉, 이글루시큐리티, 슈나이더일레트릭코리아 등 보안업체들이 참가한다.
첫날인 21일에는 ICT기반 △융•복합 보안시장 전망 △모바일 운용체계(OS) 보안시장 전망 △제3회 한일 정보보안 심포지엄이 진행된다. 22일에는 EWC 무선커넥티비트 시장 전망과 신제품•솔루션 설명회가 이뤄진다.
`시큐리티코리아 2013`은 행사기간 내내 비즈니스 데이로 진행된다. 행사가 마무리되는 24일에는 일반 참관객이 참여할 수 있는 퍼블릭 데이도 갖는다. 참관객 사전등록은 20일까지 홈페이지로 신청할 수 있다. 한편 이번 전시회는 국내 최대 규모의 IT전시회인 월드IT쇼 2013과 동시 개최된다.
