SEOUL, KOREA - Lamborghini Seoul announced on June 10 that its flagship model Aventador LP 700-4 passed the 2,000 mark in sales in 24 months after being released. Since 2011, Lamborghini has produced five units of Aventador per day at its Sant'Agata factory in Bolognese, Italy.
The sales of Aventador are far faster than its previous version Murcielago that passed the 2,000 mark in four years and six months after release. Aventador appeared at the movie "Dark Night Rise" where it was driven by a leading actor Christian Bale.
With a 12 cylinder engine that has a maximum output of 700 hp, Aventador has a maximum speed of 350 km per hour. It takes only 2.9 seconds for Aventador to reach the speed of 100 km from zero.
Aventador Roadster, scheduled to be released in Korea in the second half of this year, is already booked for the next one year.
