SEOUL, KOREA- The Incheon Port welcomed the maiden call of a 140,000-ton cruise ship, the largest among those which have entered the port of Incheon so far.

The cruise liner, named “Mariner of the Seas,” which belongs to the world’s No.2 cruise carrier Royal Caribbean Cruise, entered the North Port of Incheon at 8 am of July 11.

The 140,000-ton cruise ship features a length of 311 meters and a width of 48 meters with a capacity of accommodating 3,840 passengers and 1,185 crews.

The “Mariner of the Seas” has the same height with those of a 15-story building. Called as a hotel at the sea, the “Mariner of the Seas” is equipped with a variety of luxury amenities, including a casino, an outdoor pool, a mini golf course, an indoor swimming pool, and an ice rink.

The cruiser is scheduled to leave for Shanghai at 9 pm on July 12. The ship made calls at the ports of Jeju and Busan on June 17 and 20, respectively, as part of its Asia tour.
