The growth in NHN’s second-quarter results is attributable mainly to the increases in its overseas sales, including those of LINE.
Its overseas sales amounted to 199.1 billion won, accounting for 28 percent of NHN’s total sales. The overseas sales grew by 107.4 percent year on year and 30 percent compared to a quarter ago. The share of overseas sales in total sales grew by 11 percentage points from a year ago and 5 percentage points compared to a quarter ago. Domestic sales also grew to 523.5 billion won, up 10 percent from a year ago and 0.6 percent from a quarter earlier.
