SEOUL, KOREA- Korean Airlines announced on October 2 that it won the "Asia's Best First Class Seat Service Airline" award for four straight years. The award was given at the Asia-Oceania Regional Award-giving ceremony held by the World Travel Awards 2013 at the Anantara Palm Resort in Dubai.
The World Travel Awards is established by a UK-based travel transportation content provider World Travel Group. The award is given based on the votes of those engaged in the business of travel, tour, and aviation throughout the world.
The awards are given on a regional basis, covering not only the airline industry but the industries of airport management, hospitality, travel agencies.
Korean Air introduced in 2009 the Kosmo Suite, an upgraded version of its existing first-class seats, which is installed on its next-generation airplanes, including the B777 and A380.
