SEOUL, KOREA - Estsoft announced that it signed a deal with Thailand’s Asiasoft Corporation PCL to export its new game CABAL II to the Philippines. CABAL II is an action MMORPG using cryengine 3. Since its domestic service was launched in 2012, it has been offered stably through continuous updates.
This contract takes the form of expanding the scope of service countries, coming after Estsoft signed a deal in September 2012 with Asiasoft to export CABAL II to Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Estsoft will be paid $1 million as an additional down payment, in addition to the existing $4 million. The service contract is valid for three years. In addition to the basic down payment, Estsoft will be given running royalties depending on the amount of sales after commercialization.
With the headquarters in Thailand, Asiasoft is one of the largest game publishers in Southeast Asia, running branch offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
