SEOUL, KOREA - Kia Motors’ compact car Forte was named as the best compact car by U.S. daily USA Today. Hyundai Motor’s Elantra ranked No. 2, proving that the status of Korean-made cars is recognized highly in the U.S. compact car market.
USA Today reported on November 11 that a group of automobile experts and consumers carried out assessment of compact cars with prices of less than $20,000 selling in the U.S.
As a result of the survey, Kia Motors’ Forte achieved the highest score among the compact cars selling in the U.S. The compact cars subject to the evaluation included Forte, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Ford Focus, Subaru Impreza, and Hyundai Elentra.
