The food company launched the Alaska Salmon at major department stores and large retail marts in April and, thereafter, expanded the scope of outlets aggressively,generating 5 billion won in sales in just five months after releasing it.
In September 2013, CJ Cheil Jedang showed off a customized version of Alaska Salmon targeting the Chuseok holiday season and achieved additional sales of 4 billion won.
