SEOUL, KOREA - Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on November 21 that its canned coffee “Cantata” passed the 100-billion-won level in annual sales in six years after being launched.

During the period from January to October 2013, Cantata has been sold 120 million units (175-ml cans) or 4 million boxes (one box contains 30 cans), with its sales reaching 100 billion won, up more than 30 percent from a year ago.

The sales of Cantata, released first in April 2007, have been growing by about 40 percent per year and are expected to reach about 130 billion won this year. Cantata consists of four types, including premium latte, Americano, Dutch black and caramel macchiato.
