SEOUL, KOREA - 5 Rocks, a specialist in mobile game analysis, announced on December 2 that it formed a service alliance with Japan’s cloud service company Nifty.Under the terms of the alliance, 5 Rocks will provide mobile analysis services to MobileBackend, a mobile cloud platform of Nifty.
MobileBackend, which is now under development by Nifty, is a service that provides server-side development function on the cloud environment that is needed commonly when smartphone application is developed.
5 Rocks attracted 2.56 billion won of investment from Japan’s Global Brain in August. Thereafter, 5 Rocks has formed its first alliance with a mobile advertising firm AdWays. Its service alliance with Nifty marks the second alliance it formed.
A5 Rocks official said, “Talks are actively underway in Korea about how to promote mobile cloud platform development partnerships. Starting from the alliance with Japan’s Nifty, we will pursue cooperation with a variety of services in and outside Korea.”
