Korea Post under the Ministry of Information and Communication will globalize the market and plans to exchange culture via producing stamps together with countries abroad. President of Korea Post Hwang Joong-yeon first worked with Singapore to design stamps using Korean and Singaporean traditional wedding dresses as material. The stamps will be issued on March 30, 2007.

There are a total of eight stamps including four Korean traditional wedding dresses and four of Singaporean traditional wedding dresses. A set is sold 4 by 4, 16 in total. The four Korean designs are one with a pair of purple Dan-ryung and bribe's dress that were only worn by princesses for 480 won, a blue Dan-ryung and common bribe's dress for 520 won, a pair of navy Dan-ryung and bribe's dress for 580 won, and a cloak and a set of traditional dress for 600 won. Singapore Traditional Wedding Dress designs show the country's diverse culture. Each of the four stamps is 250 won and include Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, and Eurasian wedding dress images. There will be 300,000 of each stamp produced, bringing the total number of this set of stamps to 2.4 million.

The Korean traditional wedding dresses were supplied by Professor Park Sung-sil of the Traditional Costume Devision of Dankook University, and the stamp was designed by the well known oriental picture artist Professor Yoon Yeo-whan of Choong Nam University.

On March 30, 2007, President Hwang will celebrate the launch of collaborated stamps at a ceremony hosted by Mr. Chua Thai Keong, the Ambassador of Singapore. Professor Yoon who designed the stamps will be at the Kwangwhamoon Post Office from 11:30 to 1:00 pm on that day.
