SEOUL, KOREA - TicketMonster ranked No. 1 in the social commerce category in the 2013 brand value assessment carried out by a brand value evaluation company Brand Stock.
Brand Stock announced on December 16 that TicketMonster recorded 800.74 points in the 2013 Brand Stock Top Index, ranking No. 1 among social commerce sites, followed by Coupan with 799.35, W MakePrice with 773.95 and Groupon with 721.60.
The BSTI is a brand value assessment model that measures the brand value of about 900 major brands in Korea. The index uses the stock index based on the simulated stock investment at the Brand Stock Stock Exchange, plus consumer survey results.
TicketMonster surpassed 1 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume in 2013, while achieving net sales of 100 billion won in October 2013, first among domestic social commerce sites.
