SEOUL, KOREA - LGElectronics released in domestic market a 2014 version of tab-book (Model:11T740) that adopts the strength of tablet and ultrabook. The newly-released tab-book is mounted with an 11.6 type full HD IPS display, a 4G Core i5/i3, and a Windows 8 operating system.
It has a thickness of 16.7mm and a weight of 1.05kg, about 3mm thinner and 0.2kg lighter than those of its previous version Z160. The cutting-edge tab-book adopts a large-capacity lithium-polymer battery that can run for 8.5 hours in one charge. With a single charge, it allows users to watch videos for six straight hours.
The newly launched tab-book employs a reader mode that reduces the wavelength of bluelight, providing more comfort to the eyes.Users can use it like a tablet PC by using a touch screen but if they press the “auto sliding” button, the screen slides up to reveal the keyboard, thereby allowing users to use it just like a laptop.
It also boasts superior compatibility with peripheral devices. With a built-in USBand HDMI port, it does not need separate connection devices. The retail price is 1.63 million won for Core i5 model and 1.43 million won for Core i3 model.
