SEOUL, KOREA - Neowiz Games announced on February 11 that it posted sales revenue of 442.9 billion won and operating profit of 95.9 billion won last year on a consolidated basis.Year on year, sales fell 34 percent and operating profit declined 17 percent. However, net profit marked a 703-percent growth compared to a year ago.
Overseas sales amounted to 293.1 billion won, accounting for 66 percent in the company’s total sales. Domestic sales stood at 149.8 billion won.For the fourth quarter of last year, sales amounted to 66.8 billion won, with operating and net profits estimated at 8.7 billion won and 700 million won, respectively.
For the full year 2013, the company’s major existing games such as AVA, Slugger, and Special Force maintained stable earnings. Preparations were also made to launch a string of new games, including the Bless and the Project Black Sheep.
