SEOUL, KOREA - Com2uS, a specialist in mobile games, disclosed on February 12 that it achieved sales of 20 billion won, operating profit of 500 million won and net profit of 6.3 billion won for the fourth quarter of last year.
Year on year, sales, operating profit and net profit all grew 24 percent, 378 percent and 400 percent, respectively.
Moreover, its 2013 full year sales reached an all-time high at 81.4 billion won. During the year, its operating and net profits stood at 7.7 billion won and 19.4 billion won, respectively. Compared to a year ago, sales rose 6 percent, while operating and net profits fell by 52 percent and 5 percent each.
Com2uS attributed the record-high full year sales and the upward trend in the fourth quarter to the releasing of a string of new hit games, plus the continuous popularity of its existing games.
It also merits attention that the share of overseas sales stood at about 33 percent. Com2uS aims to achieve sales of 101.5 billion won, operating profit of 17.7 billion won and net profit of 15.5 billion won for 2014.
