The highest record of US$126.3 million was set in IT exports this month, while IT revenue and expenditure were US$63.1 million. Upcoming seasonal holidays like the new school semester, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are expected to be opportunities to boost the IT industry. This record has proved that the IT industry is a prop of Korea's exports.

Cell phone exports, in particular, set a record of US$33.6 million worth of export. This is a large difference from the most recent records of US$26.3 million. Also, the export rate to China at US$48.4 million and Europe at US$23.0 million hit the highest peak in exports, setting new records. With this trend, the standard of accumulation penetrated the US$1 billion dollar mark a month earlier than expected.

Compared to the record of the same month last year, the influence of the Thanksgiving holiday increased this year's record by 21.5%. Putting working dates into consideration, the average export rate per day was increased by 3.8%, with a penetration of US$5 million. As far as the products are concerned, cell phones and panels hit the highest record, while semiconductors decreased due to price reductions.

Mobile phone exports, including parts exports, raised 42.4%, achieving a new record of US$33.6 million. This is the highest record set since 2005, which was US$26.3 million. The current top export product is semiconductors in the US$30 million range, but it could easily be replaced by mobile phones exports in the future.

Export growth of semiconductors on the other hand was reduced by 1.9% and only hit US$34.5 million. D-RAM exports seemed to be picking up since July, but fell off again due to the delay of overflowing supply. The profits for those came out to be US$8.2 million.

Exports to China increased by 25.6% to US$48.4 million. This is the highest record in Korean history and Korea is expecting further growth up to US$50 million. To China, the world's IT production factory, Korea is exporting mobile parts to the tune of US$7.3 million, semiconductors at US$16.1 million, and US$10.2 million worth of panels.

Exports to European records show that most rely on mobile phones at US$10.3 million, panels at US$4.7 million, and TV parts at US$1.9 million. Within twenty-three months, US$20.4 million in exports was made from these products.

Seasonal holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas are expected to keep encouraging the IT industry. With leading products like semiconductors, panels, and mobile phones, it is expected that US$1.2 billion dollars in exports will be made by the beginning of the year.
