SEOUL, KOREA - YDOnline revealed its consolidated financial results for the year 2013. The company posted sales of 34.5 billion won, operating profit of 5.8 billion won and net profit of 1.1 billion won.Its sales fell 6 percent but operating profit jumped 3,300 percent, year on year. The company also succeeded in returning to the black in terms of net profit.
YDOnline attributed the strong results to the successful connection between its new growth engine mobile games and publishing business.
The company bounced back to profit in four years, thanks to its efforts to revise its business structure toward profit-centered one, plus the development of a string of new mobile games.
AYDOnline official said, “The 2014 keyword for the improvement of our performance will be the launch of global services for a string of our games, including the “Evangelion: Catharsis of Soul” and the “Soul Master.”YDOnline is also set to release a variety of new mobile games this year in and outside Korea.
