GUANGZHOU, CHINA - LED CHINA 2014, a four-day event organized by UBM Trust, a joint venture with UBM Asia Ltd, concluded on February 26 in Guangzhou with a record number of 88,502 visitors that came from over 166 countries and regions and 1,083 exhibitors covering the entire LED industry chain with showcases of the latest technology and products. Celebrating its 10th edition, LED CHINA 2014 is held across over 80,000sqm of exhibition space at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Area B, Pazhou in Guangzhou.
As an international sourcing platform, LED CHINA is increasingly popular with overseas visitors attracting a total of 12,773 numbers of international buyers and professionals from overseas which is an impressive 38% growth from the previous edition. This proves that the event is getting popular among the international markets and is fast becoming an important event in the international LED industry calendar. These international visitors came from countries and regions, which include USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, UK, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Korea and Australia.
Both first-time visitors and regular visitors were impressed by what they found at the trade show. "I have been visiting LED CHINA so many times and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I visit. I think the event is wonderful, very wonderful. I will come again for the next edition of LED CHINA, again and again. During LED CHINA 2014, buyers and visitors were impressed when they found the entire LED industry chain well-represented by world leading manufacturers from South Korea, USA, Russia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Some featured exhibitors include: ABSEN, BLUEVIEW, BONSHINE, CEDAR, CHANGELIGHT, DESAY, EVERFINE, GROWZING, HC SEMITEK, HONGIL, IMIGY, JINGTAI, LEDMAN, LEYARD, LIANTRONICS, MAGIC, MARY, MASON, NATIONSTAR, QIANGLIJUCAI, RETOP, RISHANG, SBC, SHENGHUI, SUN EAST, SUNMOON, UNILUMIN, XUANSHUO, ZHONGWEI. "We have participated in LED CHINA every year because it's the first and largest event of the year for the LED industry. I can see there are much more overseas visitors this year which shows the industry is thriving. We will come back to LED CHINA next year not only because the event raises our brand image but also strengthens communication with the customers. Among the exhibits, buyers were delighted to find many star products with one being the COB LED which is produced by HONGLITRONIC which boasts advantages of low thermal resistance, excellent lighting output, high light efficiency, good CRI. Others include the MacAdam 4 Step-Controlled Binning, the high-efficiency bulbs from NATIONSTAR, the new automatic EMC LED sorting and taping machine launched by ZVISION, LED MR13/GU10 lamp from Mason and the 346 Asymmetric Lamp Device showcased by LEDMAN. "We have participated in LED CHINA for ten years since 2005. The main reason we have been consistent in the event is because it helps us to effectively display our new products. We are really happy to see the enormous crowds this year. For both of the exhibitors and buyers, LED CHINA provides an excellent opportunity for win-win cooperation. The next edition of LED CHINA is scheduled to take place from 2 to 5 March 2015 at the same venue in Guangzhou, China.
