SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics is expected to show off its new strategic smartphone G3 on May 27.According to IT media GSMArena, LG Electronics recently sent letters of invitation to a group of foreign media to attend its new product presentation.
LG Electronics' new product presentation event is scheduled to be held in six cities, including London, New York, San Francisco, Seoul,Singapore, and Istanbul, on May 27 and 28. The Seoul event is scheduled to be held on May 28.
As matters stand, it is likely that LG Electronics would show off the G3 at these events. In its conference call for the first quarter of this year held on April 29, LG Electronics said it will show off the G3 until the end of May.
Written in the letters of invitation is a phrase of "To be simple is to be Great." In this sentence, the G in the word "great" was capitalized, hinting that G3 could be revealed during the event.The G3, accordingly, is expected to be revealed first in overseas on May 27 and in Korea on May 28.
