SEOUL, KOREA - Today, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. released a new video for its fantasy-inspired and multi-layered global marketing campaign, Galaxy 11. The four minute “Galaxy 11 Training Video ”, provides a look into the exciting and rigorous training that Galaxy 11 team players including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are undertaking, using the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Fit.
Galaxy 11 is a multi-platform global marketing campaign that tells the story of 13 top-class football players from around the world attempt to save the planet from alien domination in a “winner takes Earth” match on a virtual football pitch this summer. The campaign has embarked on the next phase - “Galaxy 11 Team Training”, designed to stimulate fans’ imaginations, inspire engagement and utilize the newest Samsung Galaxy devices to unlock entertaining moments and experiences.
In addition to the Training Video, Samsung is also releasing a variety of Galaxy 11-themed campaign extensions, including new mobile games and the Galaxy 11 World Tour, that offer interactive and robust engagement for fans around the world.

Fans can watch the Galaxy 11 team undergo a variety of futuristic and rigorous training simulations that test their football skills under the watchful eye of team manager, Franz Beckenbauer. Additionally, for the first time ever, fans can see how the latest Samsung devices –Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Fit– are helping the team prepare for their epic showdown. Features like heart rate monitoring, water-resistant functionality, faster auto-focus and other dedicated fitness tools provide enhanced mobile technologies that will allow the team to perform at their very best. To provide fans a chance to test their own virtual football skills, Samsung today released four new Galaxy 11-themed mobile games. “The Match: Striker Soccer Galaxy 11”, available to Galaxy S5 and all Android users ,provides fans the chance to play as the Galaxy 11 and take on the alien team for prizes that will be awarded to individual players on a weekly basis. Three other new games, Galaxy11 “Cannon Shooter,” “Soccer Wars,” “Shooting Soccer”, specially made for Galaxy device users, will help provide an ultimate football experience to fans around the world. Fans also have the unique chance to play against the Samsung Galaxy 11 team as part of a special partnership with EA SPORTS FIFA 14 mobile game.
Galaxy 11 World Tour
Another way that fans can get immersed in the campaign is to visit the Galaxy 11 World Tour Studio traveling around the world, including England, Italy, the UAE, China, Nigeria, Argentina and Brazil, from April to July. The interactive studio allows football enthusiasts to train and play like the Galaxy 11 team through entertaining programs and experiences with the latest Samsung devices - Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Fit –as well as the new mobile games and special appearances by Galaxy 11 players.
