SEOUL, KOREA - Hyundai Mobis announcedon October 15 that it is included in the DJSI World index for four consecutiveyears. The inclusion indicates that Hyundai Mobis is within the top 10 percentin the 2014 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI).
The DJSI, launched by afinancial information provider Dow Jones and a Switzerland investment firmRobeco SAM, evaluates the sustainability performance of the largest 2,500companies worldwide, measuring their economic, social and environmental impact.
Based on achievedscores, the businesses are classified into the DJSI World (upper 10 percent),the DJSI Asia Pacific (upper 20 percent) and the DJSI Korea (upper 30 percent).
Hyundai Mobis acquiredhigh scores in various evaluation categories this year, with its name beingincluded in the DJSI World group, together with Volkswagen, BMW and Siemens. Inparticular, Hyundai Mobis gained the highest score among autoparts makers.
