SEOUL, KOREA - Kia Motors establisheda total of 18 driving centers throughout Korea where visitors can have theopportunity to enjoy test riding of new Kia vehicle models.
Starting from theestablishment of the Gangnam Driving Center in June 2014, Kia Motors has set upthe driving centers at its ten nationwide sales bases, including those in thenortheastof Seoul, Busan, Ilsan, Incheon, Daegu, Ulsan, Ansan, Wonju, andJeonju, plus at its eight repair service bases in Gangseo and Seongdong(Seoul), Suwon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Pohang, Cheongju, and Changwon.
AKia official said,“The driving centers contributed to creating a virtuous circle. A large numberof the consumers who experienced trialdriving at the centersactually purchased our vehicles.”
Among 28,000 consumerswho visited Kia’s driving centers during the January-October period of thisyear, about 21 percent or 5,800 consumers purchased Kia models.Kia added thatthe driving centers also contributed to the strong sales of the newly releasedSorento and Carnival.
