SEOUL, KOREA - Pantech, which is now under the sale process after applying for a workout program, released LTE-A-compatible high-spec large-screen smartphone at an inexpensive price of 350,000 won.
The Vega Popup Note (IM-A920S), a popup style smartphone with a digital pen which automatically pops out if a switch is pressed, will be released on November 21 through SK Telecom.
The retail price of the Vega Popup Note is set at 352,000 won, a drastically low price for a premium note smartphone. This price level is similar to those of low-pricedmass-market smartphones.
With an internal storage space of 16GB, the Vega Popup Note features a Qualcomm SnapDragon 800 application processor and a 5.6-inch full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080). The front-side camera has a 13-megapixel and the rear camera a 2.1-megapixel.The Vega Popup Note supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE, coming in two colors—Cream White and Mild Black.
