Monster Summon Bottle CUI won in the game contest, held by Windysoft

The Global Game Hub Center (GGHC) plans to provide $1.2 million to the winning developers of game content and solutions in a platform development contest to be held during the second half of this year.

This contest will be based on both solutions and content.  Applicants can freely choose a subject in the field of multi-platforms, smart phones and IPTV. Game or platform development firms, research and development institutions or private organizations in the field of games and university labs or auxiliary college organizations are qualified to apply.

Winners in the field of solutions and content will begin their development with pre-production in September with total investments of $500,000 and $300,000 each by GGHC.

“We are focusing on developing competitive game content and solutions for multi-platform, smart phone and IPTV that appeal to global game markets,” Seo Byoung-dae, executive director of the GGHC, said. “Especially for solution part, we are going to make a tangible achievement in the game business through developing commercial games in the contest.”
