According to AP, a prosecutor says Cho Hyun-ah, the former Korean Air Lines executive who ordered a crew member off a flight in an incident now known as “nut rage,” has been charged with interfering with a government investigation and violating aviation security law.

Kim Chang-hee, a senior prosecutor at Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office, said Wednesday that Korean Air executives and employees interfered with the transport ministry’s probe by destroying documents and fabricating evidence.

Cho, who is the daughter of the airline’s chairman, kicked a crew member off a Dec. 5 flight over the way she was served macadamia nuts. Her behavior has infuriated the public.

Kim said a current airline executive was charged with destroying evidence and interfering with the probe. A transport ministry official was indicted for leaking secrets about the investigation.
