Sushi Cho at The Westin Chosun Seoul will present a Gala Dinner with Chef Hideki Ishikawa on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21, 2015. A three-star Michelin chef Hideki Ishikawa has been featuring gala dinner at Sushi Cho since 2010. For this gala dinner, Sushi Cho will prepare the chef Ishikawa’s creative nine-course kaiseki-style cuisine accompanied by carefully selected sake.
A three-star Michelin restaurant Ishikawa is located in the Kagurazaka neighborhood in Tokyo. In 2014, Ishikawa was ranked No. 16 in The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. According to the Michelin Guide, “Hideki Ishikawa’s cuisine is described as ‘Ishikawa-style’, bound only by his imagination.” “Innovative touches are incorporated to highlight the unique characteristics of each ingredient,” it added.
Chef Ishikawa’s kaiseki-style cuisine is defined by its fresh seasonal ingredients and prepared in ways to enhance their flavor. As a native of Niigata Prefecture, chef Ishikawa is also well-versed in the art and wine which influences his presentation and plating.
In addition, Sushi Cho will offer a Premium Sake Promotion on Mondays from March 2 through May 25, 2015.
