On February 23, AmorePacific and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital(SNUBH) signed the MOU to jointly conduct the study on developing anti-aging solution. In the signing ceremony held in SNUBH’s conference hall, stakeholders including Sim Sang-bae, AmorePacific’s President&CEO, Han Sang-hoon, Managing Director of AmorePacific, Lee Chul-hee, Chief doctor of SNUBH, Lee Jae-seo, head of outreach cooperation and the faculty of SNUBH.
This MOU makes two organizations actively cooperate each other in the areas as follows: Joint research of science techonology and healthcare, Assistance to the joint research and development of anti-aging solution, exchange of research staff and training, sharing of utility, equipment and space, support and joint research of common interests like sharing academic and technical information.
In particular, given the rising interest of anti-aging in preparation for aging society, AmorePacific and SNUBH will put an emphasis on connection research among metabolic syndrome, muscloskeletal activation, cancer prevention, energy boosting and mental care as well as planning on specialized health functional food for the elderly.
In addition, both institutions agreed to develop senior care business model in pursuit of public wellbeing and health. In cooperation with VB, AmorePacific’s beauty food brand, a special solution for mental and physical rest will be developed.
“Now is the time to conduct research continuosly in order to promote the public wellfare in the face of aging society,” said Sim Sang-bae, AmorePacific’s President&CEO, “We will actively take part in realizing the public wellageing through siging the MOU with SNUBH.”
