Bamboo shoots are ideal food for people who want to lose weight. A 100 gram serving of bamboo shoots contains only 13 calories. Bamboo shoots are also rich in dietary fiber, as well as vitamins and minerals. Consuming sufficient amounts of bamboo shoots is beneficial for easy digestion and strengthening the body from the inside out.
