Ssangyong Motor announced on March 31 that it started exporting its compact-sized SUV Tivoli.
On the same day, Ssangyong Motor held a ceremony to celebrate the first shipments of the Tivoli at Pyeongtaek International Auto Terminal, attended by a group of its executives and employees. The first shipment volume is 2,000 units of Tivoli.
Tivoli will be exported to various countries in Europe and Latin America, including Belgium, the UK, Spain, Italy, Chile, and Peru. The Tivoli will be sold in the markets from June.
Ssangyong Motor aims to export 25,000 units of Tivoli this year, including 13,500 units for the European market.
A Ssangyong Motor official said, “We will launch aggressive marketing activities, including large-scale free ride events for local journalists as part of an effort to expand our presence in the European market and explore new market opportunities.”
