On April 12, Samsung Electronics announced that it would launch ‘Wireless 360 Audio,’ an omni-directional audio in the domestic market.
Wireless 360 Audio was highly recommended when it was released at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015, held in January. On April 14th, Samsung Electronics launched the two items at the same time: stand-type ‘R7’ and six-hour-long-at-full-charge 'R6 portable.’ Both are for advanced sales and will be able to be purchased on stores on April 21th.
Wireless 360 Audio can offer real-time streaming service and output sound to a 360-degree revolution, so you can hear music equally clear in any given spot.
Wireless 360 Audio is the first product made by Samsung Audio Lab. Samsung Electronics’ unique Ring Radiator technology and new standard of sound tuning technique are applied to this product to lessen the sound distortion.
The object design on the product concealing its speaker is also innovative. It was made an oval frame from all angles to the extent which it can stand comparison with a home interior piece.
Multiroom App, application dedicated for audio also enhanced the convenience of Wireless 360 Audio. Multiroom App is the multiroom sound system which connects Wireless 360 Audio to external devices like a mobile device or to TV/sound bar under its control. It features the intuitive User Interface by controlling music handling a circular wheel. You can also be provided streaming service of sound sources from home and abroad on Multiroom App.
There are many sources including Bugs, Korea’s domestic streaming service provider and foreign ones like Tunein, 8tracks and Deezer. Samsung Electronics will continuously expand the relevant services.
