‘4minute’ HyunA will make a solo comeback.
According to various resources on the 5th, HyunA is working on a solo album with the comeback scheduled in August. Several videos of HyunA practicing dance moves were uploaded on her Instagram which strongly support the news.
HyunA has consistently released solo albums whenever 4minute was on a break. Since her first solo promotions in 2010, she has released ‘Bubble Pop’, ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Red’ and strengthened her position as an artist in the K-pop scene.
A fierce competition is anticipated this summer since many other K-pop girl groups are looking forward to release new albums in June and July, including Girl’s Generation, SISTAR, 9Muses and Girl’s Day.
The singer’s agency stated, “Although HyunA aim to release an album in August, the exact comeback date has not been confirmed yet. She is working her best for the album, so please look forward to her upcoming album.”
