K-pop girl group Brown Eyed Girls immediately denied the disbandment rumor.
On the 10th, the group’s agency Nega Network rep spoke through various media outlets “The disbandment rumor of Brown Eyed Girls is not true at all. In fact, they are preparing for a new album which will be released this year.”
A media outlet reported using the sources of various K-pop insider’s words, “Brown Eyed Girls are actually undergoing the process of disbandment.”
The article also revealed that Nega Networks is experiencing extreme financial difficulties and it is impossible for Brown Eyed Girls to release a new album. In Fact, Ga In has left Nega Networks and is now focusing on a solo activity under Mystic Entertainment, which holds the copyrights for the group’s name. Other members’ exclusive contract with Nega Networks will expire soon.
However, Mystic Entertainment stated, “We’ve never discussed about recruiting other Brown Eyed Girls members”
Meanwhile, Brown Eyed Girls debuted in 2006 and released many hits like ‘How Come’, ‘Abracadabra’, ‘L.O.V.E’. They have stopped group activities since they released the 5th albumin August 2014 and focusing on individual activities.
