LG Telecom (LGT) announced that overseas mobile communication enterprises like Brazil, China and Chile visited LGT of Korea to study OZ, which is a wireless internet service, on September 20, 2009.
Vice President Paulo Teixeira and major officers of Vivo, the biggest mobile communication company of Brazil, visited LGT and learned about the development process, marketing strategy and service of OZ.
Executives of China Telecom already visited 3 times only this year and listened to an explanation about the service's strategy and marketing.
Also President Fernando and the management of Mobistar, Chile's mobile communication leader, also visited to hear about the service of OZ this June.
OZ was launched last April by LGT. It has become popular because of its cheap charge system and oversease enterprises have taken an interest.
An LGT official said, "Everyone will be able to use it easily with liberal services and cheap fee," and "Likely, this point is capturing the taste of the overseas mobile communication enterprises."
