NXC opened Korea’s first virtual museum Nexon Computer Museum (360 Virtual Museum) and plans to launch an open event for 40 days starting from June 17.
The 360 Virtual Museum is a virtual museum that is created by taking a video of the Nexon Computer Museum by using a special 360-degree camera (IM360 Hex). It offers real-like interactions, while supporting docents to explain every part of the museum. The users of this 360 Virtual Museum can get the feel of directly touching the museum’s collections.
The 360 Virtual Museum will be available through the Nexon Computer Museum’s website and SNS services. It also can be used by accessing directly to the virtual museum (www.ncm360.org).
This virtual museum was selected as the best website of today by Britain’s FWA and will be showed off through FWA’s official site on June 19.
In the meantime, the 360 Virtual Museum was designed by a digital creative agency Does Interactive which swept awards at the world’s top-three advertising competitions, including Cilo Awards and Cannes International Advertising Festival.
