LG Electronics announced on June 18 that it will release a premium kitchen appliance package “Diamond Collection” in the United States, the world’s largest home electronics market.
The Diamond Collection is a package of premium kitchen appliances, including refrigerator, gas oven, microwave oven, and dish washer which are applied with stainless materials and elegant black coating design. Compared to existing stainless products, the Diamond Collection items are more resistant to external pollutants.
LG Electronics plans to sell the Diamond Collection package at about 2,000 home electronics retail stores run by major US retail chains such as Best Buy, the Home Depot, Sears, and Lowe’s.
Included in the Diamond Collection package are six different refrigerator models, including ice water purification refrigerator, two conventional oven models, one microwave oven model, and one dish washer model. This is the first time for LG Electronics to show off ice water purification refrigerator in the U.S. market.
