Mercedes Benz has the best quality service among import automobile brands in Korea, according to research conducted by the Korea Economic Daily.
Following Mercedes Benz were Lexus and BMW. The overall service quality of major import auto brands stood at less than 70 points out of 100 perfect score.
Jointly with the Kookmin University’s Automotive Service Research Center, the Korea Consumer Agency and the Korea Insurance Development Institute, the Korea Economic Daily assessed the service quality level of the import auto brands, first among domestic media.
Among 22 import auto brands registered in the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association, the research dealt with the top-ten brands in sales terms.
The top-ten brands’ overall service quality scores averaged at 68.9 points. Mercedes Benz ranked No. 1 with 74.9, followed by Lexus with 74.7, BMW with 70.5, Mini with 68.9, Ford and Toyota with 68.5, Honda with 67.7, Audi with 66.3, Chrysler with 66.2, and Volkswagen with 63.5.
