Dasstech Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kum Man-hee) has introduced photovoltaic inverters, the Soleaf Series, at KES 2009. After about 2 years of research collaborating with universities and other institutions, the company has developed a grid type transformer-less inverter for houses and buildings.
The inverter uses an MPPT control to maximize the electricity generation considering the solar radiation rate, temperature, and humidity. Using a digital controller, users can monitor and control the system. The whole process was designed to run automatically, so in case of problems the power supply shuts off by itself and the status can be checked with an LCD monitor. The company not only manufactures solar inverters, but also plans and constructs solar power systems.
