Hankook Tire announced on July 29 that it will supply original equipment tires for Ford’s mid-sized trucks including the F650 and F750.
The company will supply four types of OE tires which will come in six different sizes.
The four types of OE tires include a 19.5-inch tire AH11 and DH07 which feature improvements in durability, driving comfort, stability and efficiency, and a 22.5-inch tire AH22 and DH15 which boast excellent efficiency in mid- and long-distance driving, plus superior wear resistance and braking performance.
Hankook Tire said this deal cleared the way for the company to expand the supply of its OE tires for the truck and bus market, while establishing stronger brand image in the North American market.
Since it started supplying OE tires for Ford in 1999, Hankook Tire has expanded the partnership by satisfying Ford’s strict quality requirements. Hankook Tire is now supplying OE tires to the F150, Ford’s best-selling car in North America.
