Kia Motors released the 2016 Sorento on August 3, which features a great improvement in product value. The 2016 Sorento came in one year after Kia Motors released the new Sorento in August 2014.
The 2016 Sorento features the expansion of the adoption of safety and convenience specs, while adding an improved sense of elegance to interior and exterior design. Excluding those of two trims (2.0 Noblesse and 2.2 Noblesse), the retail prices of the remaining six trims remain unchanged.
Advanced airbags and cornering lamps are employed as basic options for the basic trims such as the 2.0 Deluxe and the 2.0 Luxury whose retail prices remain unchanged.
A Kia Motors official said, “The 2016 model contains all of the specs used for the previous model, thereby generating a price reduction effect.”
For the 2.0-liter diesel model, the retail price (2WD 5-seater basis) is 27.65 million won for Deluxe, 28.45 million won for Luxury, 29.85 million won for Prestige, 31.5 million won for Noblesse, and 33.2 million won for Noblesse Special.
