Former Korean Air executive Cho Hyun-ah sent the U.S. court on Thursday a motion to dismiss the cases brought by flight attendants Park Chang-Jin and Kim Do-hee, victims in the "nut rage" incident.
Park sued her for damages at a Queens’s county court, claiming he “got serious physical and mental damages by Cho due to her repetitive curse and assault on board. His posttraumatic nervous disease and insomnia were recognized as workplace accident.
The lawyer of Cho said in a statement on the same day that Cho asked the court to dismiss because there are inconveniences of proceeding at the U.S. court. He said the legal action should proceed at Korea's court because relevant documents and evidence are in Korean.
