On August 24, the Korea Association of Ethiopian Studies, led by Kim Hyoung-joong, delivered 2.3 million won to an Ethiopian patient, hospitalized at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital.
Having learned that an Ethiopian student studying at Hankyong National University could not continue her medical treatment due to financial difficulties, the Korea Association of Ethiopian Studies decided to help Mrs. Mekdes Asefa. The Korea Association of Ethiopian Studies told her: “We sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and continue your studies in S. Korea.”
The Korea Association of Ethiopian Studies, a non-profit private organization, was founded in May 2013 to promote academic exchanges and friendly relations between S. Korea and Ethiopia.
