Promotional models showing how to use Samsung’s strategic products

A slew of Samsung Electronics’ strategic products, especially IoT-based ones, will be showcased at IFA 2015, the largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances in Europe.

The S. Korea-based electronics titan will show off its whizzy new products in a huge exhibition space (8,730㎡) inside the newly-constructed "CityCube Berlin" at IFA 2015, scheduled to be held September 4-9 in Berlin, Germany.

From this year’s IFA, Samsung will shift its focus to IoT-based consumer experiences from introducing the characteristics of each product.

At the IoT zone, eighteen 65-inch curved SUHD TVs, hanging from the ceiling in a circular fashion, will show the vivid images of skies changing with the passage of time. To let visitors understand how Samsung products can bring changes to their daily lives, Samsung will also install showcases, prepared under 24 scenarios, in a fanned-out fashion.

The IoT zone will flaunt the all-electric BMW i3 and the Samsung Gear VR, which offers an unparalleled 360 degree virtual reality viewing experience.

The IoT zone will be flanked by two other zones sporting TVs and home appliances, respectively. There will be separate spaces dedicated to mobile phones and B2B-related products.

With the Samsung 88-inch SUHD TV and the SUHD logo highlight zone at the center, a total of 41 SUHD TVs -- including 11 TVs in each side (left and right) of the center and 18 ceiling-mounted TVs -- will help visitors feast their eyes on super-high resolution images.  .

Visitors will be encouraged to experience a variety of UHD contents (e.g. Netflix, Amazon’s global UHD streaming service, etc.), as well as popular games and TV-mobile convergence functions.

Samsung's wireless audio speakers, which project sound 360-degrees, will provide visitors with ear-pleasing experiences. And visitors will also be allowed to get their hands on the Samsung Gear S to see how the Gear S interacts with the Samsung Multiroom Audio app.

The decor of Samsung’s home appliance booth will be reminiscent of an art gallery. Art walls will be put up to display refrigerators, dish washers, vacuum cleaners, ovens, washing machines and air conditioners with their matching symbolic images, i.e. ice cubes, water, vacuums, heat, water drops and winds, respectively.

The top-of-the-line Chef Collection zone will feature an European style kitchen mockup, stuffed with two-door, bottom-freezer refrigerators; the Samsung induction cooktop flaunting virtual flame technology; the Vapour Cook Oven featuring unique Gourmet Vapour technology; and “WaterWall™ dishwashers. Of course, visitors can do more than just taking a look at those exhibits.

The Mobile zone will highlight the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The Samsung Gear S2, Samsung's much-anticipated circular smartwatch, will also be put on view.

Also on display are the latest smart wireless LAN products, expected to serve as a hub in this IoT era -- for example, IoT access points (AP), which link various devices with sensors by taking advantage of ZigBee (a wireless network system) and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) wireless technology; and wireless APs designed for outdoor use.

The B2B zone will be decked out with smart signage TVs, i.e. commercial displays capable of providing information specifically tailored to each consumer’s need. Samsung’s smart signage TVs will deliver optimized location-specific information in high resolution along the moving path of visitors

To top it off, future-oriented, state-of-the-art virtual fitting rooms are waiting for visitors. Visitors can choose new clothes to their liking and put them on a virtual model, which can twirl around to give them a 360-degree view of the clothing. Visitors can pay for them before leaving the fitting room as long as they have the Samsung Pay app installed on their smartphones.
