The New Samsung Android Smartphone

Popular phone companies held a meeting at Samsung's main office with one specific goal in mind: improving smartphone products. Officials from Verizon Wireless, Samsung, LG, Sprint Nextel, and T-Mobile were present. Sprint Nextel's Kevin Packingham, leader of the technical department, and T-Mobile's vice president were invited to discuss business matters related to the smartphone.
Even with the rivalry between Samsung and LG, they both explained this as a business meeting.

Next month, Samsung will release their Android phone in America through Sprint Nextel. Meanwhile, LG has no planned releases of smartphones, but will closely analyze the market of smartphones. They will also analyze the hardware and software inside these smartphones and see if they meet consumer demand.

LG's vice president said, "We will focus mainly on smartphones in the 4th quarter of this year so we can invest in the future."

The reason for this meeting was so that companies can analyze how successful Samsung's Android phone will be. Also, they are strategizing on how to make smartphones more popular and possibly make it the number one cell phone product.

A worker for LG Electronics stated, "We did meet top directors for quality companies, but the whole concept of this meeting was strictly business."
