On Nov. 12, Philips Korea announced the appointing of Peter Kwak as the new General Manager of Personal Health business sector.
Mr. Kwak is a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in Korea’s FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) industry. Philips values Mr. Kwak’s capabilities and hopes to leverage his seasoned management style and leadership to strengthen the Personal Health business in Korea.

Extensive experience working at a multinational corporation in Korea has provided Mr. Kwak with a local mindset and deep insights into Korean consumer trends. He spent 12 years at Nike, and from 2009 served as the Country General Manager of Nike Korea during which time he doubled revenue via marketplace expansion, strategic pricing and effective marketing investments.
Prior to his career at Nike, he worked at McKinsey & Company in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago after graduating from McGill University in Montreal and Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies.
