South Korean tire company, Kumho Tire, said Thursday it recently won the gold prize in the "5th Event Technology Award," held in Las Vegas.
"Event Technology Award" is a venue where global firms and marketing agencies participate in to showcase their event technologies and the latest trends.
The award selects companies, which showed good performance with unique technologies and methods during global companies' event activities. Kumho Tire earned the first prize in the area of Best Touch·Gesture Interactive with its screen installation set up at Times Square in New York.
The tire company, an official sponsor of the U.S. National Basketball Association, set up a body-recognition screen installation at a subway station in Times Square in February.
