Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors ranked first and second respectively in the sales list in Chile. According to Chile's automobile association, ANAC, Hyundai sold 2,353 units and Kia sold 2,306 each in October.
Last year, Hyundai and Kia ranked second and third, by shipping 32,000 units and 31,000 units each, losing to American firm Chevrolet, which sold 15,000 units.
This year, Hyundai and Kia ranked first in January and June each, but it was the first time they ranked first and second side by side, beating out Chevrolet.
