The prosecution said it is investigating Yoido Full Gospel Church's pastor Cho Yong-gi for allegedly embezzling mission expenses worth 60 billion won and wrongly pocketing 20 billion won in severance pay.
 
A group of the attendees submitted indictment to the prosecution, saying, "Cho received a total of 60 billion won as mission expense but it is not clear where the money was used."
 
The prosecutors said, "We summoned Cho for investigation. Since the investigation is underway, it remains to be seen whether he committed a crime.  
The group is reportedly to send a bill of indictment again if Cho does not step down from his position.
