CJ Group's bakery franchise Tous Les Jours was again embroiled in design plagiarism. English illustrator Jim field said on his Twitter, "Your Korean site is selling rip offs of my art work on their products. Remove them."
He also posted Tous Les Jours' designs featuring Christmas Day's special product covers together with his work.
The bakery's designs including Santa Claus and squirrel are almost akin to the artist's work. Following his comment, Tous Les Jours posted an apology statement, saying, "We withdrew all the promotional posts and we will not use them in the future."
The bakery came under fire after it used an image of former figure skater Kim Yuna, taken by a local photographer in 2009.
